Unity Statement of the factions and leadership of the Sudan Liberation Movement
In the beginning, the glory and eternity for all the martyrs of honour, freedom and dignity, who gave their lives the redemption of this nation, glory and immortality to them and paradise as much as they provided to this nation, and sincere prayers for the speedy recovery of our wounds and the best regards to all comrades who are still on the path of struggle and spirituality.
Thanks and appreciation to the members of the National Unity Committee (the Emergency previously) for the sincere initiative they gave for unity, which we have borne fruit today, and we bear witness that they have made a great effort and patience in every critical situation. So Greetings to them and all those who contributed in order to unite the comrades around their desired goal.
Given our belief in what the principle of unity means as a supreme value, a fundamental principle, an urgent societal need and a fundamental factor for achieving the goals and meeting the targets and a legitimate demand that necessitates adherence and urges assembly and renunciation of the division and dispersions. Aware of the seriousness of the stage facing the Sudanese in general and the Sudanese margin in particular, which requires solidarity, cohesion and cooperation in support of the confidence and determination to restore the effectiveness of the principles /constancies of the Sudan Liberation Movement and Army, contribution to the achievement of national unity and to achieve the aspirations and expectations of the Sudanese in general and the margin in particular, the rules and the masses and the membership of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army, Juba Unity and Sudan Liberation Movement/Army liberalism. We believe that the time has come, and the objective and subjective conditions have been created to correct our mistakes to establish and build a strong national state that transcends its failures and avoids repeating the obstacles of unity and to start building a haughty nation that absorbs the capabilities of all its sons without omission or exclusion. Therefore, our movement, Sudan Liberation Army, Juba Unity and a group of leaders today announce the conclusion of the unity agreement under the name of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army.
This important step came as a result of a series of methodological dialogues which recently culminated in the signing of the unity agreement between the two movements. The dialogue touched upon the issues of the past with all its weight and the realities of the present in all its complexities and future horizons with all its concerns and hopes. From the evaluation of the experience of the Sudanese struggle through the struggle of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army, positive and negative, speech and performance and results where the match in the visions and ideas as well as views on most issues and topics of evaluation through the identification of intellectual and political bases and regulation and procedural rules from which the organization starts and determines its course and directs its future course.
And we are presenting this announcement today on the birth of this new entity under the name of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army, which we emphasize our full diligence and our ceaseless pursuit in accordance with the policies, objectives and constants of the movement to continue dialogue with all Sudanese national forces and armed resistance groups for joint and effective action to achieve national unity, and strive to the establishment of the state of justice, freedoms, law and rid the Sudanese of their suffering caused by the dictatorial regime, which bears all the crimes committed against these great peoples of the killing, burning, displacement and rape. In this context and this great occasion we had to send messages:
First: to the Sudanese in general:
There is no doubt that since the departure of the foreign colonizer, which was called independence, we suffer from a state crisis resulting in the secretions of the Sudanese margin and what we mentioned above, but a confirmation of such crisis. The sons of the Sudan made precious and generous efforts in order to find a state that recognizes all its sons with their different orientations, affiliations and beliefs. When this was not possible, the result was the loss of a dear part of the land of this country (Republic of South Sudan) and the remaining of this country is threatened by the actions of this regime and previous regimes, which we consider a disaster on Sudan, and the demands of the right to self-determination, but confirmation of what we have reached because of the practices of this brutal regime, hence, the Sudanese today facing an exam is the most difficult in their history, between the experience of this system and the fragmentation of the remaining of the Sudan and the pooling forces to remove such regime.
To the people of Darfur:
We appreciate and value your struggle and your early awareness of the historical injustices that you suffered, and which you courageously expressed in your cities, towns and villages in your farms and pastures, starting with the burning of Great Britain’s flag in El-Fasher in 1952, which did not happen in any colony in the countries that subordinated under the British crown at that time, from the Red Flame Movement after only one year of the independence of Sudan in 1957, which you called for reforms in the Sudanese political system and to improve the general situation of citizens in Darfur and then the Darfur Renaissance Front 1964-1965 demanding the economic and social development of Darfur and the development of human Politically, socially and economically, and represent you in the national parliament with members from Darfur instead of exporting deputies from other regions, to your struggle in the organization of the sons of western Sudan 1977-1979, to your glorious uprising in El-Fasher against the appointment of a ruler outside of Darfur due to that Ahmed Ibrahim Drej was appointed as governor of Darfur who ascended Altayeb Elmardy, former governor,to your armed revolution which was launched by the martyr Eng. Dawoud Yahya Bolad 1990-1991, to the birth of the Sudan Liberation, Justice and Equality Movement as a natural extension of your peaceful civil struggle in 2002 after the NIF regime in Khartoum forced you to take up arms as a means of extracting the rights, as stated by the head of its regime (For those who want rights, they must ride the tank), which was the reason for the entry of the cities of Golo and Al-Fasher, July 2002 and April 2003, respectively, And other struggle and spirituality reflects your awareness and your early sense of these deliberate grievances by the Center for Darfur and its people, as this event, the unity of factions of the Movement and the Sudan Liberation Army, considered an appreciation of these struggles of the first generation, believing that the issue will not end yet, as long as the rights have not been taken away, this unity came after a comprehensive assessment of the conditions experienced by the Sudan Liberation Movement politically, militarily and administratively, and the situation in Darfur due to the continuation of the NIF terrorist regime.
In committing the atrocities and crimes condemned by all the honorable people of the world. This unity comes in response to the progress of the liberation project in Sudan in general and the margin in particular, which requires all of us leaders and rules, elders and youth and students, factions and organizations to unite to restore that great cohesion, which dropped the project to export rulers and deputies from outside Darfur and replace them with rulers Of the people of Darfur. Yes, the NIF regime in Khartoum almost succeeded in employing the "divide-and-rule” policy inherited from the colonizer to break up the people of Darfur, but your advanced awareness of the nature of the tricks of the Khartoum regime has missed the system playing this bad line, therefore, our message to the people of Darfur comes today as we enter a new phase of our glorious immortal revolution in the need for unity to put an end to the tragedy of the people of Darfur and the tyranny of the Center in Khartoum. We pledge to you that your suffering will not last long, either by taking away our full rights without diminishing within the framework of one unified Sudan or we will have another opinion as it is not wise to fight indefinitely. This tragedy must be put to an end forever, whatever its form and content.
To Arab countries:
We have bonds and ties with you in the social, political or cultural roots, there was only love between the Sudanese and their friends and neighbors, the Arab countries, however, in the era of this brutal regime, the NIF regime has seen a tepidness of the majority of Sudanese due to the practices of this regime of killing, burning, raping and displacement once in the name of religion and sometimes in the name of Arabism, and the practices of this regime are about to destroy all these eternal relations by brutality of its practices in the name of religion and Arabism and by depriving our friends and Arab neighbors from seeing what is happening in Sudan in their name. Our message to you is that this regime will go today or tomorrow, but what it left behind will leave the relations in the future, because the Sudanese consider your silence about what this criminal regime does in your name means your consent, approval and even your participation, And the financial support of some Arab countries means your participation in the regime in the crimes committed against the innocent in Sudan, so, stop supporting this criminal regime. Let your relationship be with the people, not with the regimes that rule and leave.
TO African governments and African People:
The current incident of killing, burning, raping and displacement of people that takes place in Sudan now, which is the first African country located in the south desert that gains independence from English occupation, is a serious human crime against aboriginal African people in Sudan. The crime used ethnicity and religion (Jihad) to exterminate the generous people of south Sudan over the passed fifty years in which more than two million people died. Consequently, it led to the independence of South Sudan in 2011 in which it became isolated from the land of the ancestors. The same ethnic and religious reasons passed to South Kordofan, South Blue Nile and Darfur to split these areas from
Sudan one more time because of the continuance of the same reasons and way of thinking which means dissemination and divisions of Sudan. All these incidents take place with the terrible yet disappointed silence of the African governments and African people. It is a disgrace to the African people as they leave their brothers in Sudan standalone facing their destiny without any help. Our message today to our African brothers wither in the government or individuals: the ethnic cleansing and genocide done by National Islamic Front in Khartoum against aboriginal African people in Sudan requires at least from the African people to:
1/ support the efforts of International Justice against the perpetrators of genocide and ethnic cleansing crimes in
Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile instead of being against it
2/ Aprecise decision must be made against The National Islamic Front and its crimes against the African people in Sudan and the African continent

To the honorable people in the world, humanists and peace-loving people :
Extremism and terrorism that killed millions of innocent souls in all the world and destroyed its organizations are reprehensible crimes and act of barbarism by any definition. The photos and videos made it clear to all of us how inhuman and unethical these acts are. All the honorable people in the whole world have to put an end to these acts in order for the humanity to live a decent life full of peace and love. In order to fight this phenomenon once and for all we must reveal its roots and cores which are undoubtly represented in the National Islamic Front in Sudan. The National Islamic Front has united with Osama Ben Laden, Al Qaeda’s Chief in command, and Carlos and that makes us certain about what we have said concerning the relation between this scheme and the dangerous way of thinking. If Osama died and Carlos disappeared from Sudan, their approach will remain in Sudan as long as this manipulative Front scheme exists too. This scheme pretends to fight human trade but in reality it is one of the biggest organizations of human trade in Africa. Moreover, bringing African Desert elements and involving them in the War in Yemen only confirms its professionalism of this inhuman damned trade. The free world that enamoured freedom and human dignity has to take into account that extremism, terrorism and human trade will not end as long as this scheme is ruling Sudan and taking advantage of the potentials of the country to support extremism and international terrorism from Sudan. Ignoring the dangerous existence of National Islamic Front, not trying to reform it, the non-cooperation with people of Sudan to replace this scheme with a patriotic scheme or evade it from justice will support the existence of the extremism and terrorism and that will strengthen the National Islamic Front. Hence, we are asking you to stand with the people of Sudan in their freedom plan from the tyranny of the International Terrorism of National Islamic Front scheme in Khartoum in order to build a country that respects human dignity and freedom.
To our companions in the struggling:
The national liberation project from this gang and the establishment of a patriot country will be considered complete when it fulfils its purposes. We will be consistent and determined till we accomplish this mission in which we made a huge effort and lost pure souls. Any human effort has indeed some failures and defects but the lesson we learn is that we have to work hard in order to reform and purify these efforts, that’s why we are standing here today to evaluate our experience in order to know the mistakes and to have the faith and the will not to do the same mistakes again and make new results. The result of the evaluation and reform is the birth of this merged unity that linked between the Sudan Liberation Movement, Juba Unity and Sudan Liberation movement Liberalism and a number of leaders as an attempt to unify all revolutional resistance elements that totally believe that purposes cannot be reached unless we all unified. This is our message today, we send it to you leaders, armies and audiences speaking out loud about the salvation project which will not be complete unless we all became one. if two factions unified we will open the door wide open and give our hands to our companions in the struggling wither those who were offended by the movement and preferred to move away so they won’t be a reason of the project’s failure, those who wanted to go for the peace option hoping to reduce the suffering to their relatives and by doing this they revealed the mentality of this scheme or those who still determined despite the bad circumstances that our glorious revolution went through. to all dignity and freedom loving people, we give our hands to you without any restrictions or limits knowing that all the rights will not be gained unless you have our side. We have the same revolution and the same goal, our glorious revolution went through some failures because of mismanagement and lack of appreciation to things. Today, the moment has come to turn the page of past with all its defects and bitterness for the sake of gaining the rights and dignity back, rehabilitation of our people because of this violent scheme, making the children smile again after being deprived from happiness for more than fifteen years and bringing hope again to poor and widows.
It is a revolution until we reach victory,
God bless you and your struggling.
