Statement No (2)/2017

To: the Sudanese Public; the UN bodies; the Australian government; non-government organisations and individuals concerned about humanitarian and human rights issues:

We are all Kalma; we are all victims. Disarm the "nazis", arrest the "hitlers" and stop holocaust.

The world is yet to add another chapter of crimes against humanity on to the Sudanese regime's records. The international community has been monitoring human rights violations against Darfur's non-Arab ethnic not only in Darfur, but also in every corner of Sudan. The systemic ethnic cleansing is far beyond the boiling point; and ending the human tragedy is well overdue. Thanks to UNAMID for their biased reports which partially contributed to this.

Today, the regime is preparing to close their balance for the third quarter of 2017 by committing another "crime against humanity" at Kalma internally displaced people's (IDP) camp in Nyala in Southern Darfur. In efforts to deceive the international community of its human rights records, the Sudanese regime arranged a 22nd of September visit to Southern Darfur state; particularly to Kalma IDP. A move which was rejected by the displaced people of Kalma.

The orchestrated ethnic cleansing continues. In retaliation to this rejection; the Sudanese Army and Rapid Support Forces of "Janjaweed" responded aggressively by firing live ammunition on to the people. As a result, at least five civilians are dead so far and more than twenty-five others wounded, most of which are critical and life threatening.
Of course; this is in addition to this quarter's systemic extrajudicial killing, cold-blooded murder, prosecution and mistreatment of Darfuri students; especially those at higher education institutions. The enemy of Darfuri students, the jihadi students of the ruling partly, execute most of the killings; with full support from the police country and those institutions boards. We, the Darfur Humanitarian Advocacy Australia, thereof strongly condemn what is happening in Kalma; and all sorts of human rights violations. We also call all of the above-mentioned governments and bodies to do their utmost to disarm the Janjaweed militia, arrest the perpetrators to ICC, and stop ethnic cleansing of non-Arab Darfuris. Only then can Darfuris, and Sudanese in general, live in peace. And only then, can the world cut its bills short.
