Minister of Information: Sudan will Launch Campaign to Denude Corruption of ICC Leaders

Khartoum, July 11 (SUNA)- Vice - President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, has praised the outstanding role being played by the mass media in boosting the national and patriotic issues.
This came when he chaired Monday at the Republican Palace a meeting in presence of the Minister of Information, Dr. Ahmed Bilal, the State Minister at the Ministry of Information, Yasser Yousif, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Abdul-Majid Haroun, the General Manager of Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Awad Jadain, and the Director of the Broadcasting and Television Corporation, Al-Zubair Osman.
In a press statement, the Minister of Information, Dr. Ahmed Bilal, pointed out that Sudan will launch a media campaign to expose the malpractices and corruption of the leaders of the International Criminal Court (ICC) and their receiving to bribes for the targeting of Sudan and its leaders, referring to the evidence revealed on the corruption of the court's leaders.
The minister said that Sudan have its view on this court which has been established to put pressure and to target the African leaders especially, adding that the Sudanese mass media will expose this issue and will denude the ICC's false allegations, dishonesty and delusion.
Dr. Bilal said that the meeting has reviewed the great role of the Ministry of Information on Darfur issue, especially following the referendum there and the liberation of Jebel Marra and other areas, stressing the importance of establishing an FM radio for Darfur.
He said that the meeting also tackled the role of the mass media concerning the national and patriotic work.
The Information Minister said that the Vice - President has appreciated the media forum of the Ministry of Information and its role in casing light on the accomplishments of different ministries and providing information on various issues.
He indicated that the Vice - President has called for shedding light on the government accomplishments in different fields.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Information has expressed Sudan deep concern over deterioration of the situation and outbreak of war once again in South Sudan State.
He referred to the phone calls made by the President of the Republic with the leaders of South Sudan for calming down the tension and containing the situation there.
