Khartoum, May 1 (SUNA)- Chairman of the National Legislature, Prof. Ibrahim Ahmed Omer, has underscored that it is important that the Sudanese parliamentary diplomacy shall play its effective role for enhancing Sudan relations with the international community through the intensification of Sudan Parliament's participation in forums of the international parliamentary institutions.
This came when Prof. Omer chaired Sunday morning the first meeting of the executive committee of the Sudanese parliamentary section for dividing the departments of the section in 12 departments for dealing with the international institutions.
Prof. Omer indicated that the formation of departments and dividing them will help reactivating the members' participation and enabling all the political parties to take part at Parliament, play their role and to inform the international community on the pending issues at the Sudanese political arena.
