Khartoum, April. 26 (SUNA) - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday announced that Sudan welcomes the return of South Sudanese Vice President Dr. Riek Machar, and hisjoining of political process, in application of the peace agreement signed in Addis Ababa, August 2015.

It pointed out in a press statemetn it issued here on Tuesday that the Ministry sieze this opportunity to call on the two parties to the agreement to implemnt the agreement in food faith and to place the interest of the people of the South Sudan on top of their agendas
and to take into consideration maintenance of security and stability in the region.

The statement encouraged regional and international to continue their effort to support the concerned sides in south Sudan during stages of execution of the agreement.

The statement expressed Sudan's hope that this step would lead to boosting bilateral relations between Sudan and South Sudan through the comprehensive implementation of the agreements of cooperation signed in September 2015, as well as the understandings between the top leaders of the two countries, in the intrests of the peoples of the two countries.
