Khartoum, Mar. 23 (SUNA)- President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has affirmed Sudan support to the plans and programs of the Islamic Daawa Organization so as to carry out its role properly internally and externally. This came when he received in his Wednesday at the Republican Palace the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Daawa Organization, Field Marshal Abdul-Rahman Suwar Al-Dahab. The President of theRepublic has accepted the invitation to address the opening sitting of the 22th session of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Daawa Organization on March 30. In a press statement, Field Marshal Suwar Al-Dahab said that the organization will discuss a number of issues, top of them are amendment of the organization's act to cope with the international developments and the organization's budget. He said that the Islamic Daawa Organization operates in the fields of education, relief and support to the homeless and orphans in the sub-Sahara region in Africa through 35 offices in 42 countries.
