Khartoum, Feb 17 (SUNA) - The President of the Republic, Omar Al Bashir, has commended the bilateral relations linking the Sudan and the United Arab Emirates.
Trhe president who received the visiting UAE Minister for Culture and Knowledge development, Sheikh Nahian Bin Mubarak Al Nahian, and the accompanying delegation who are taking part I n the activities marking Tayeb Salih Award, has described the Sudan-UAE relations as developed and enteral.
The UAE official who called on the president, in the presence of the Minister for Culture Tayeb Hassan Badawi, has pointed out in press statements following the meeting to the bonds that link the two countries and the joint interests they share.
He said these relations have been cemented and would continue growing to achieve the joint interests of the two countries and their people. The UAE official has referred to the role played by the Sudanese expatriates in contributing in the development of his country.
