Oil Minister reviews with Indian ONGC Regional Director ways of cooperation

Khartoum, Feb. 15 (SUNA) - The Minister of Oil and Gas Dr. Mohamed Zayid Awad discussed, during his meeting Monday with the Indian Oil and Natural Gas Corporation's (ONGC) delegation headed by its new Regional Director in Sudan Vedic Lascar, ways of cooperation between the two sides in the field of oil and gas as well as the implementation progress of the agreement signed between the ministry and the ONGC for purchasing its domestic crude, which operates in oil exploration and production in a number of blocks in the country within the group of the Greater Nile Petroleum Operating Company.
The Minister of Oil and Gas praised the company's role as a partner in Sudan's oil extracting operations in Sudan, stressing provision of necessary assistance to the company to achieves its desired goals and the mutual interests between the two sides.
He welcomed the new Regional Director in his second, wishing him a success in his mission.
