Khartoum, Feb. 3 (SUNA) - The Foreign Minister, Prof. Ibrahim Ghandour, received in his office Wednesday morning a delegation of the External Affairs Council of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Ambassador Abdul-Raouf Al-Raydi, and discussed progress of the bilateral relations at the people's level.
The meeting discussed the cooperation between the Egyptian External Relations and its Sudanese counterpart for bolstering the relations between the two sister nations.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Al-Raydi affirmed firmness of the relations between Sudan and Egypt and the unity of the two peoples of the Nile Valley.
Prof. Ghandour has discussed with the Egyptian delegation progress of the relations between the two countries in different aspects, referring to the important role of the two councils for realizing integration between Sudan and Egypt.
It is to be recalled that the delegation of the Egyptian External Relations Council is visiting Sudan at the invitation of the Chairman of the Sudanese External Affairs Council, Dr. Hussein Suleiman Abu-Salih, toward consolidating the relations between the two councils.
