Khartoum, Jan. 28 (SUNA) - President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Bashir, has awarded the Nelein Order to Dr. Ayedh Al-Gahtani, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Qatari Sheikh Al-Thani bin Abdalla Institution for Humanitarian Services in recognition of projects and services that it has extended to Sudan at the cost of 37 million dollars. Dr. Al-Gahtani said in a press statement that the honoring will be a motive for the institution to complete implementation of all its projects in Sudan, within the institution's strategy for the period 2016 - 2020. The Qatari Ambassador to Khartoum, Rashid Al-Nuaimi, said that the honoring came in the context of the firm ties between Sudan and Qatar.
