Title: Egyptian FM Affirms his country keenness to provide security and safety for Sudanese citizens

Cairo, Nov.19 (SUNA) - Sudan's Ambassador to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ambassador Abdul Mahmoud Abdul Halim met, Thursday, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shokri , at his office , in the presence of some of his assistants .
The meeting has discussed the memorandums submitted by Sudan's embassy in Cairo to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry concerning the recent crack downs and the violations committed against some Sudanese national in Cairo.
The Egyptian FM, during the meeting , has pointed out that Sudan is a sincere and Egypt gives special concern to strengthen its relations with Sudan and keens to provide peace and safety for the Sudanese visitors and resident .
He asserted that his country does not discriminate between the Sudanese and the Egyptians, affirming that the memorandums of the Sudanese embassy were referred to the authorities concerned to investigate on their content .
He did not rule out occurrence of isolated acts, calling on the embassy to provide his ministry with any details to support the ongoing investigations .
Meanwhile, the Egyptian FM received, during the meeting, two messages from Foreign Minister, Prof . Ibrahim Ghandour on the congratulation of Egypt for winning non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council and the ministerial meeting of Sudan , Ethiopia and Egypt on the Renaissance Dam .
