Dongola, Nov. (SUNA) - The First Vice - President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, affirmed that there is no alternative for the federal government system.
Addressing Sunday the concluding sitting of the Workshop on the State Reform in Dongola city, Lt. Gen. Salih renewed the government commitment to continue providing electricity power for the agricultural projects and health and education services for the citizens in the states.
He called on the farmers in the Northern State to intensify efforts for cultivation in the winter agricultural season and to give concern to growing wheat, reiterating the government keenness to remove all the obstacles facing agriculture.
Meanwhile, the Wali (governor) of the Northern State, Engineer Ali Awad Mohamed Musa, has affirmed the importance of the workshop for boosting the reform plans and programs in the state.
The State Minister at the Council of Ministers, Jamal Mahmoud, has presented a paper on the strategy of the state in the fields of reform, enhancement of services and realizing human resources, economic, social and cultural development.
