Khartoum, Oct. 30 (SUNA) The Sudan and Niger have emphasized their keenness to enhance and develop their relations in all fields.
Niger President, Yousif Mohamed who stopped off at Khartoum airport , and received by the First Vice President of the Republic, Lt. Gen. Bakri Hassan Salih, on his way home after his participation in the Indian-African summit, noted in press statements his keenness to stop at Khartoum to emphasize the good relations between his country and the Sudan.
He pointed to his meeting with President Al-Bashir during his participation in the Indo-African summit, held in New Delhi, expressing hope to continue cooperation relations between the two countries.
He added that the decisions of the summit would contribute in bushing further the cooperation relations between India and the African continent; moreover, it has approved programs for the development of the infrastructure, the education, the economy and the researches in Africa.
The State Minster at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Kamal Ismail Saeed noted to SUNA that the Niger President discussed with the FVP at Khartoum airport the issues of common concern, besides the bilateral relations and the importance of boosting them further.
The State Minister added that the President of Niger has expressed appreciation to the great role of Sudan in support of his country's education and his hosting to the Niger students.
