Sudan’s First Vice President, Bakri Hassan Salih, has stressed that the next term of the president Omer Al-Bashir will witness achievement of peace and political reconciliation based on the national dialogue and the community dialogue outputs, next to achieve development and stability, adding that the coming stage will witness more reforms and give everyone his rights and achieve more justice, besides building, security and stability.
Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir has been re-elected with 94% of the vote last April, but the country's main opposition parties boycotted the elections. Turnout was officially 46% but analysts said that many believe the real figure was even lower.
Western countries, including the US, Britain and Norway, criticized the polls for not being free and fair.
The African Union monitors said that basic freedoms and human rights would have "enhanced" the polls.
