Sudan’s Foreign Ministry announced that is has summoned South Sudanese Ambassador to Khartoum, Mian Dot Wall, on the background of disappearance of the local staff from of Sudan's embassy in Juba since last Friday
In statements following his meeting with Wall, Foreign Ministry Deputy Director for Bilateral and Regional Relations, Ambassador, Ali Al-Sadig told the South Sudan’s Ambassador that the arrest of embassy worker for seven days by the military intelligence of South Sudan State, with out notifying the embassy is unacceptable and unjustifiable, asking him tell the authorities concerned in his country to release him immediately, especially that he did not commit any crime or behavior that justify his detention .
For his part, South Sudan’s diplomat confirmed that he made many efforts with the authorities concerned in his country in order to determine the place and the circumstances of the detention, predicting that the worker will be released in the next few hours.
