Egyptian President, Abdul Fatah Al-Sisi, has praised the deep rooted relations between peoples of Sudan and Egypt, stressing that the unity of the Nile Valley brings together Egypt and Sudan giving the relations of the two countries a specialty and importance for the masses of Egyptians who are looking forward to boosting relations between the two countries on both the official and popular levels, according to Sudan’s Foreign Ministry
Al-Sisi told Sudan’s Foreign Minister, Ali Karti, who is currently visiting Cairo to convey his greetings and appreciation to his Sudanese counterpart Omer Al Bashir, renewing congratulation to Al Bashir on wining the presidential elections in Sudan wishing him all success in his mission and wishing the state and people of Sudan all the best progress and prosperity.
The spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidency, Ala Al-Din , said in press statements on Saturday that Al-Sisi affirmed the importance of opening the land cross point Qastal –Ashkeit for stimulating trade traffic between the two countries, stressing the importance of investing the official and popular proximity between the two countries for pushing forward bilateral cooperation in different spheres particularly agricultural development.
For his part Karti praised the excellent relations linking Khartoum and Cairo, pointing out that both the government and the people of Sudan are looking forward to developing these relations in all spheres and on all levels especially in the light of the wider prospects of the relation and the promising capabilities for developing them.
