Sudanese authorities have announced completing of evacuation of its nationals wishing to return from Yemen in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The spokesman of Sudanā€™s Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Ali Sadiq, said in press statements on Thursday that Khartoum International Airport has received nationals from about (36) States who have been evacuated from Yemen following the ā€œFirmness Storm Operationā€ led by Saudi Arabia against the Houthi rebels, pointing out that all operations has been coordinated by IOM and they will be evacuated to their home countries, adding that the remaining Sudanese in Yemen preferred to stay to themselves
Sudanā€™s diplomat noted that the Korean Foreign Ministry sent a letter of thanks to Sudanā€™s Foreign Ministry expressing its appreciation for Sudan for efforts in helping Korean citizens out of Sanaa under evacuation of the foreign nationals from Yemen by IOM, praising Sudanā€™s role in evacuation of all foreign nationals since the beginning of the crisis in Yemen
