Title: Sudan briefs IMF representative on the economic developments

Sudan’s Acting Finance Minister, Dr. Abdul Rahman Dirar, stressed his ministry’s keenness to develop its economic relations with the international and regional financial institutions and strengthening its relations with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
During his meeting with the resident representative of IMF in Khartoum on Tuesday, Dirar briefed the representative of IMF on the economic developments that happened in Sudan and the programme and led to a positive improvement.
He pointed out that his ministry had prepared a programme of economic reform which will be applied this year and aims to achieve further developments and increased production in the various economic sectors.
For his part, the resident representative of IMF praised the Sudanese economy performance in the year 2014 and realizing of a number of achievements in the various economic sectors
