Darfur reconstruction matrix II starts in April

President of the National Justice and Liberation Party and Chair of Darfur Regional Authority, Dr. Al-Tijani Al-Sisi, announced the second stage of the matrix of the projects of the development strategy of Darfur will start in April, considering it as a step of peace and stability through the sustainable development programmes.
During the launch of his party's program for the elections on Tuesday, Al-Sisis said that the peace that has bee achieved in Darfur came through strong strategic partnership between all parties related to the Darfur issue, which contributed to the success of the peace moves on the ground.
Fierce divisions have recently emerged within the leadership of the movement between the chairman of the movement on one side and the secretariat led by Bahar Idriss Abu Garda, on the other, over the item pertaining security arrangements.
Abu Garda accused the chairman Al-Sisi of disorganization and fabrication; however the latter insisted that the movement is still unified as per its institutions and forces on the ground, adding that the movement is operating in full consultation with stakeholders in the region and will stay the course of implementing developmental projects in Darfur until peace, stability and security prevail across the region.
