Sudan’s Popular Congress Party (PCP) has renewed its commitment to the national dialogue as the key of the political stability to resolve the problems facing the country.
PCP Secretary of the of the crisis areas and decentralized governance Department, Dr. Mohamed Al-Amin Khalifa, said in statements on Tuesday that the dialogue will be continued after the general elections which will not affected by the process of the dialogue, stressing the importance of the dialogue and consultation on political stability and open the door for the different political parties.
Khalifa called on all Sudanese people to unity and solidarity and not paying attention to rumors that lead to bad consequences such as that occurred in Egypt, Syria and Libya, stressing the need to view the political parties as national institutions.
Meanwhile, PCP political Secretary, Kamal Omar, denied any deal between his party and the ruling National Congress Party (NCP) on the dialogue, noting that the current political situation requires political reconciliation, confirming that the dialogue is the best way to address all the problems of Sudan.
Omar revealed that the dialogue will be launched in the next few days, reiterating his party's rejection to intervention of the international community in the dialogue, emphasizing the ability of Sudanese people to conduct the dialogue with the armed movements.
