The Chair directed by providing facilities for the COMESA Court
Sudan’s Presidency has directed the justice and judicial organs to provide all facilities for the COMESA Court of Justice in Khartoum, also directed security agencies to provide necessary protection.
Sudan’s Vice President, Hassabo Mohamed Abdul-Rahman, has expressed Sudan welcome to hosting the headquarters of COMESA Court of Justice in Khartoum, in presence of the Ministers of Justice and Attorneys General of COMESA member states, a number of federal ministers and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited to Sudan.
Addressing a ceremony marking inauguration of the headquarters of the COMESA Court of Justice in Khartoum on Thursday, Hassabo pointed out that Sudan is proud over its good relations with the African sister and friendly countries and its belonging to the African continent.
He said that Sudan unique geographical location in Africa necessitates that it shall a play a pivotal role in bolstering security and stability and enhancing the cooperation and development in the African states toward meeting the aspirations of the African peoples.
He asserted the importance of cooperation through the economic groupings for utilizing the vast potentialities and boosting the economic development in the African countries.
Hassabo stressed that Sudan membership in the COMESA organization assured it full confidence on the important role of this economic grouping for enhancing the trade cooperation between the member states and developing joint visions and united policies conducive to achieving potential economic integration.
