Title: Sudan refers the case of the two political detainees to the court

Sudanās State Security Court delivered on Thursday the chair of the opposition National Consensus Forces (NCF), Farouk Abu Issa and the head of the alliance of the Sudanese Civil Society Organisations, Mekki Medani, a letter regarding referring their case the court.
The spokesman of the team defence of the two detainees, Moez Hadra, said in press statements on Thursday that the prosecution has brought the same charges against the detainees, noting that the defence team has the right to repeal this verdict.
He disclosed that his team will move to set the start of the hearing, pointing out that the reference of the case was one of the demand of the defence team and confirmed the readiness of his team to defend the detainees.
Abu Issa and Medani have been detained since December after being signatories to the āSudan Callā accord with the rebel umbrella Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) and the opposition National Umma Party (NUP) in Addis Ababa.
The security services also detained a former NCP member from the Blue Nile state, Farah Agar, and his office manager, Mohamed Eldoud for meeting with the rebel groups on the sidelines of peace talks in Addis Ababa.
