Sudan’s Minister of the Supreme Council for Investment, Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail, has stressed that Khartoum’s government is making serious efforts to correct the investment environment and addressing all impediments to foreign investment.
In his meeting with Saudi business sector in the Saudi Chambers Council in Riyadh on Sunday, Ismail said that Sudan is fully equipped six free zones to Saudi investors in border areas with neighboring African countries under secured actions.
“The six areas considered great investment opportunity for Saudi business sector due to the strategic location of Sudan which represents one of Common Market For Eaten and Southern Africa (COMESA) countries which its population reaches (500) million that means access to a huge African market” He added
Ismail noted that the Supreme Council for Investment had done great work regarding the investment in Sudan through revealing some 37 impediments to foreign investment in Sudan and it resolved these impediments through the new Sudanese investment law.
