Sudan's ambassador in Cairo, Abdel-Mahmoud Abdel-Halim, discussed with the Secretary General of the League of Arab States, Dr. Nabil Elaraby, subjects of cooperation between Sudan and Arab League, as well as ongoing developments in Arabic region.
According to Sudanese News Agency (SUNA) on Tuesday, Sudanese Ambassador briefed Elaraby on the efforts are being exerted inside Sudan to promote peace and development in the country,
The meeting also discussed preparations for the Sudanese next elections, besides participating Sudan in the African Summit meetings recently in Addis Ababa and the great support and assistance asserted by African leaders towards the International Criminal Court (ICC)
The two parties further dealt with the meeting held recently between the General Secretariat of Arab League and Sudan’s Government regarding Arabic aid for Darfur
