Jan 23, 2015-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Foreign Ministry has informed the European Union that the injustice and double standards in dealing with some regional and international issues contributes directly to the spread of terrorism, calling on the international community to deal with issues in the region with wisdom and justice in order to avoid the phenomenon.
The Under-Secretary of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry, Abdullah Hamad al-Azraq, discussed on Thursday Chairman of the European Union Mission to Sudan, Thomas Ulicny, issues of common concern and bilateral relations between Sudan and European Union, and the means of strengthening cooperation between the two sides in all fields, particularly in the areas of political, developmental sectors
For his part, Ulicny confirmed EU's keenness to strengthen its relations with Sudan, noting that there are several areas of cooperation could be developed between the two sides, announcing their support for the process of the national dialogue launched by the president Omar al-Bashir.
Sudanese diplomat praised EU efforts in Sudan, stressing Sudan's rejection of all forms of terrorism, noting that lack of Justice and dealing with double standards in dealing with international and regional issues contribute directly to outbreak and spread of the phenomenon of terrorism, calling on the international community to unite in dealing with the issues and chronic political crises in the region with great wisdom and justice and equal criteria in order to avoid a continuing phenomenon.
