Emirati companies to invest in Sudan’s country's oil and minerals

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s National Authority for Investment has revealed that new investments from United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Sudan in the sectors of oil, minerals and water resources, confirming readiness of Authority to facilitate all investment processes in the country.
After his meeting with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of UAE For Diamonds on Friday, Sudan’s State Minister at Authority, Ali Tawur, said that the company wanted to invest in oil, electrical, environmental and forestry sectors in the country, stressing the success of the UAE investments in Sudan and the country’s keenness to attract many investors to invest in the country after the arrival of the investment law.
He noted that his authority signed several agreements through the economic partnerships, enumerating the authority’s efforts to create an effective investment environment along with a package of reforms undertaken recently by the authority and establishing of many free zones that facilitate trade and investment exchange in the country.
