Forming of the Coordinating Committee for “Sudan Call” "document

December 20, 2014-Khartoum-SudaneseOnline -The head of the political bureau of the National Umma Party (NUP), Dr. Mohamed Mahdi Hassan has revealed the National Coordinating Committee for implementation of “Sudan Call” "document has been formed, saying that membership of the Committee contained a woman but he didn’t name her.
Hassan said in statements to Khartoum-based Al-Tagyer newspaper on Friday the head of NCF Farooq Abu Issa, the chairman of civil society organizations, Mekki Medani, the head of SRF, Malik Agar, and the leader of NUP, Al-Sadiq al-Mahdi, are responsible for Coordinating Committee after their choice of a woman to be included in the composition of the Committee.
He explained that Committee has links with other operational mechanisms within and outside Sudan to market “Sudan Call”
Sudan opposition signed Sudan Call agreement on 3 December with the rebel leaders which aimed at unifying Sudan’s opposition
The opposition deal brings together a number of major groups including the Islamist Umma party and the NCF, an alliance of mostly secular parties. They were joined by a group representing the armed movements of three war-torn regions: Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile.
