US Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan arrives at Cairo to discuss many issues

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-The US Special Envoy to Sudan and South Sudan, Ambassador Donald Booth, Arrived in Cairo on Saturday evening at the start of a two-day tour to the region, including Saudi Arabia. Informed sources disclosed that US Envoy will meet with senior Egyptian officials and Sudanese opposition figures to discuss the latest developments of the situation in Sudan and activation the national dialogue launched by Sudanese president Omer Al-Bashir last January to resolve outstanding problems between Khartoum Government and South Sudan and the Sudanese opposition.
The sources added that U.S Envoy also would hold talks with representatives of the warring parties to the conflict in South Sudan between forces of President Salva Kiir and his former vise president Riek Machar.
