In a speech during a graduation ceremony in North Darfur state on Thursday, Hussein confirmed the army's ability to address all attacks and thwart the conspiracies being hatched against the country, praising the sacrifices made by Sudanese soldiers in order to preserve the unity and dignity of Sudan
Sudan’s Defense Minister declared starting of the second “decisive summer” operations, pointing out that the army troops, police and security will put an end to the rebellion in the states of Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile, adding that these forces will continue to be vigilant in order to protect the citizens and guarding the peace.
Hussein said in a speech before the country’s Parliament on Wednesday that his Ministry’s plans and programmes for the coming year include the strengthening of the defense mechanisms, the extension of State authority and promotion of shared resources with neighboring countries, as well as to put an end to the rebellion in Darfur, Kordofan, Blue Nile, revealing continued his Ministry in developing the military aircrafts to securing the long coast of Sudan.
