Khartoum-SudaneseOnline- Turkey's Ambassador to Khartoum, Cemalttin Aydin, announced that size of his country’s investments in Sudan will rise to (2.6) billion dollars over the next two years, stressing that they would reach (50) billion dollars in the coming years, pointing out that the political relations between Khartoum and Ankara proceeding in the right direction.
In a press statement on Monday, Turkey's Ambassador stressed the need to remove the bureaucratic obstacles that hinder Turkish investments in Sudan, noting that many agreements signed between the two countries in agriculture, livestock and media sectors but they have not implemented for lack of ratification by the parliaments of the two countries, disclosing that a workshop will be held soon between the ministries of the high education of the two countries to discuss cooperation in the field of education and scholarship in Turkey.
Turkish diplomat addressed the weakness of trade and investment exchange between the two countries, and attributed that to the bureaucratic steps in Sudan and weak incentives to the investor, pointing out that his country has a large agricultural technology that can benefited by Sudan through the agriculture agreement signed between the two countries, calling on Sudanese media to play a positive role in advancing the two countries ' relations, especially in the area of investment, urging officials to ratify the agreements of mutual cooperation.
