We would repent of the coups and failed to bring regime down: Sudan’s al-Turabi

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Secretary General of the Popular Congress Party (POC), Dr. Hassan al-Turabi, has called the government to retreat its constitutional amendments proposed by the ruling National Congress Party (NCP), justifying his call that currently national dialogue could reach to compromise on the pending issues.
During his address to a seminar about the constitutional amendments on Sunday, al-Turabi said that idea of the appointment of the governors by the President of the Republic must be temporary until achieving the settlement through the dialogue.
The Islamic veteran criticized some political parties concerning their dealing with the national dialogue initiative
“We would repent of the coups, and we have failed to bring regime down, so we resorted to the dialogue” he stressed
He called on everyone to benefit from the experiences of Syria and Yemen and Somalia
