Minawi: Darfur issue should be addressed within comprehensive solution framework

Addis Ababa-The chairman of the Sudan Liberation Movement Mini Arko Minawi has
affirmed that the final solution of Darfur crisis will not be made
without a comprehensive solution framework for the Sudanese crisis.
Addressing the inaugural sitting of Darfur region talks in Addis Ababa
on Sunday, Minawi said that the crisis of Darfur region should be
tackled through negotiations with the government before transferring
the results to the comprehensive national dialogue forum. .
He said that the issues of talks should include the political status
of Darfur region, government and administration system within the
region, transitional arrangements on wealth and power sharing, issues
of rehabilitation, displaced persons and refugees, justice,
reconciliation, lands, security arrangements and the humanitarian
situation.
