Increase in size of the mineral investments between Sudan and Saudi Arabia

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Minister of Minerals, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Sadiq Al-Karori, has announced that there is increase in the size of the mineral investment between Sudan and Saudi Arabia in the mining of gold and other metals.
This came in a press statement on Friday flowing a meeting with Saudi Undersecretary of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources within the framework of the discussions of the Sudanese-Saudi Joint Permanent Committee on the natural wealth in the Red Sea region.
Sudan’s Minister of Minerals confirmed that the joint and agreed projects between the two sides are proceeding in rapid steps to increase the production, topped by Atlantis (2) project for mineral exploration around the Red Sea by a Saudi company.
He referred to the importance of the complementarily of roles between Saudi Ministry of mineral resources and Sudan’s Ministry of minerals.
