UNAMID resolved to conduct another investigation into rape allegations in Darfur

Khartoum-The joint African Union-United Nations mission in Darfur (UNAMID) has announced determination to conduct another investigation into the allegations of rape in Tabit village in North Darfur.
The deputy head of the UNAMID has that the purpose of the investigation is to put an end to the recent rumors.
The Government of South Darfur Adam Jar Al-Nabi discussed in Niyala on Tuesday with the deputy head of the UNAMID means for strengthening the joint cooperation between the two sides toward realization of stability and return of the displaced persons to their areas. They also discussed means for providing the displaced persons with services.
The government has requested the UNAMID to notify the government about the movement of its convoys within the state to tighten the security coordination, according to Ashoroq network.
