Mbeki announces suspension of talks between Sudanese government and SPLM-North

Khartoum-The chief of the African Union high-level mechanism Thabo Mbeki announced on Monday suspension of the talks between the Sudanese g0vernemnt and the SPLM-North sector for undefined date. The chief of the African Union mediation mechanism has meanwhile announced making suggestions to the parties to the negotiations for consultations,
Speaking to a press conference in Addis Ababa, Mbeki announced suspension of the talks ( for few days) to give the two parties further time for consultations.
Mbeki and members of the mediation have announced satisfaction over the will the two parties have shown toward reaching a fair peace.
