Sudan’s Agricultural Bank starts buying sesame crop from farmers directly

Khartoum-SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Agricultural Bank has begun to purchase sesame crop and announced its readiness to provide new stores for the crop, while Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation has disclosed on coordination with Agricultural Bank and the Strategic Reserves Authority to store sesame crop properly.
Sudan’s Ministry of Agriculture’s spokeswoman, Asma’a Al-Khidir Maki, announce in press release on Thursday announced a plan to expand the Bank's agricultural tools through creating new stores to accommodate the high productivity of this agricultural season, predicted to reach up to (7) million tons, compared with (2) million tons last year.
She confirmed the Bank's commitment to buy the crop with good price, pointing out that provision of equipment for storage through the agricultural Bank.
