Defense Minister: Qatar will support Sudan with gas

Khartoum-The Defense Minister Abdelrahim Mohamed Hussein has announced Qatar to provide Sudan with gas expecting arrival of the gas next year. In the meantime, the Emir of State of Qatar has pledged to support the Sudan so that it is able to overcome its current economic crisis.
He said he met during his visit to Doha with Emir of Qatar Tamim Bin Hamad and handed him over a message from President Al-Bashir. He said that Emir Tamim has affirmed readiness to support the Sudanese economy to help Sudan overcome the current stage.

The minister of defense has said the military cooperation agreement between Sudan and Qatar covered all areas of cooperation including training and exchange of experiences.

He described as successful his recent visit to Qatar.
