Egyptian Foreign Minister to visit Khartoum the current month

SudaneseOnline-Sudan’s Ambassador to Cairo, Abdel Mahmood Abdel Halim, has disclosed that contacts are being underway between Sudan’s Foreign Minister and his Egyptian counterpart in preparation for the next stage of the successful Summit President Omar Al-Bashir with his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
Abdel Halim told Khartoum-based Al-Rai Al-A’am newspaper on Saturday that Egyptian Foreign Minister will visit Khartoum this month to discuss with Sudan’s Foreign Minister Ali Karti ways of activating the Karti what agreed upon between two parties, besides preparation for the higher Committee meetings are expected to convene before the end of this year.
Sudan’s Ambassador added that the Egyptian top diplomat will discuss also creation of the necessary mechanisms to improve relations so that they are become complementary and model as agreed by the two Presidents in the recent Cairo Summit, adding that consultations are underway between Cairo and Khartoum and the rest of Libya's neighbors to held a special ministerial meeting to discuss the political settlement of the conflict in Libya scheduled in Khartoum this month.
