SPLM-North describes as lie government’s statement on talks

Khartoum-The spokesperson of the SPLM-North Mubarak Adol described as untrue and flagrant lie the statement of the Assistant to the Sudanese President Ibrahim Ghandour that the chief of the African Union high-level mechanism has made an invitation for the talks without fixing the time and venue of the negotiation.

The spokesperson has said the mechanism has set the 14th of October, 2014 as the date of the negotiations, and Addis Ababa as the venue of the talks. He stated that Ghandour has requested the postponement of the round of talks because some important members of his delegation were performing Hajj, and that he was busy with the arrangements for the meetings of general conference of his party.
