Nuba Mountains Queen calls for cessation of war

Khartoum-The Queen of Nuba Mountains Neltina Yaqoub has called for cessation of war in areas of conflict in Darfur, South Kordofan and Blue Nile. The queen has further called for opening the door before the delivery of humanitarian assistance to the affected persons.

Speaking to Al-Ayam newspaper, she stressed the necessity of free education, referring to the spread of illiteracy due to poverty. The queen of Nuba Mountains has affirmed solidarity with the Darfur female students at Al-Barracks Dorms, and called for releasing all detainees.
