Sudanese parliamentarian: Egypt appoints 300 persons from Halayeb in posts in government

Khartoum-The deputy for Halayeb constituency at the National Assembly Ahmed Issa Omer has revealed a decision by the Egyptian authorities to appoint 300 citizens of Halayeb in the government positions in Egypt as part of the process of Egyptianization the area. He said that Egypt also offers medical and educational services for the population of Halayeb for free.

H e revealed intentions to present a request to summon the foreign minister at the beginning of the new parliamentary session to be briefed on the developments of the situations and the latest government measures in this regard.

He warned against the consequences of ignoring the issue of Halayeb, stressing the importance of diplomatic movements to solve this issue.
