Sudan summons Libyan Charge d'affaires

Khartoum-The Sudanese Foreign Ministry summoned, on Monday, the Libyan Charge d'affaires in Khartoum and notified him that Sudan protest over statements by a Libyan army commander on media that Sudan is involved in supporting radial groups in Libya.

The Sudanese Foreign Ministry has categorically denied support to any Libyan faction. The Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Abdalla Al-Azrag said that Khartoum does not support any Libyan faction against the other, saying that Khartoum is ready to mediate bringing Libyan foes together.

On his part, the Libyan Charge d'affaires has expressed sorrow over what he described as “unreal” statements that would negatively affect the strong relation between the two sisterly people.
