Revolutionary Front to meet with Chadian President in Addis Ababa in October

Khartoum-The Sudanese Revolutionary Front has announced a meeting with the Chadian President Idris Deby in the first week of October in Addis Ababa to discuss the peace process and comprehensive national dialogue.

The meeting with all leaders of armed movements is considered the first of its kind since the eruption of Darfur war in 2003. Deby will focus during the meeting on the peace process in Darfur in light of the recent political developments especially the transfer of Darfur peace talks from Doha to Addis Ababa and the conduit of the comprehensive Sudanese dialogue.

In the meantime, the front has welcomed the African Peace and Security Council decisions to make confidence building arrangements through a preliminary meeting that brings together Khartoum government and armed and peaceful opposition in a meeting in Addis Ababa.
