Khartoum-The Sudanese Foreign Ministry said on Sunday that it has not received any request from the Libyan authorities or the Libyan embassy in Khartoum on the withdrawal of the military attaché of the Sudanese embassy in Tripoli.
The spokesperson of the Sudanese Foreign Ministry Yousif Al-Kordfoanu said Sudan has been maintaining a neutral role toward the Libyan foes, affirming readiness to play a mediation role to bring the view points of the various factions and groups in Libya with the aim of mending fences.
With regard to what has been circulated on the plane that landed in Al-Kafra airport, ambassador Kordofani said the plane has been making regular fights to provide the Libyan-Sudanese joint forces with supplies, food and ammunition in accordance with the agreement on the establishment of these forces to protect the borders of the two countries.
He stated that the last trip was a routine and at the request of the joint forces, and that the representative of Libya in the joint forces colonel Suleiman Hamid is one who gave it the permission to land.
