RIEK MACHAR WILL LOSE ONE EYE

I want to inform the people of South Sudan that Riek Machar went to South Africa on Sunday for medical treatment. He went to South Africa Eye Clinic in Pretoria and met an eye specialist on Tuesday at 10:15 am South African time.

The eye specialist told him his eye has to be removed because if it is not, he may have an eye cancer. Mr. Riek asked the doctor whether treating it with medication is not possible. The specialist advised him that treatment with medicines will only work temporarily. The best option which has a long term benefit is to remove the eye so that the infection does not lead to cancer.

The specialist is concerned that the high blood pressure of Riek Machar is increasing his eye problem. Although Riek Machar is given medication to control high blood pressure, he lives a stressful life which makes it impossible for the medicines to work. The eye doctor concluded that his eye should be removed.

My sources within South Africa security revealed that Mr. Riek Machar told the doctor that his eye should be removed after the end of his rebellion. He argued that he needed only medication to control the situation on a temporary basis until his rebellion is over.
