SPLM-North leader accuses Rapid Support forces of recruitment of children

Khartoum-The member of the leading council of the SPLM in Nuba Mountain region Hassan Adam has said that the Rapid Support Forces have taken around 400 children aged 15-17 from areas of Abu-Karshola, Al-Moraib and the neighboring villages and displaced camps in Al-Rahad and Om-Rawaba to Khartoum for conscription.

Adam has denounced the move as serious violation to the rights of child and to the international charters. ).

He called on the international community to interfere and live up to its humanitarian duty toward these children, adding that” everybody has to denounce these violations and work to top them”.
