Foreign Ministry: Visit of Machr to Khartoum postponed for logistics reasons

Khartoum-The foreign ministry has announced receiving a notification from IGAD organization that the visit of Dr. Reik Machar to Sudan has been postponed due to logistics reasons, according to statement issued by the foreign ministry.

The statement said that the visit of Machar was arranged by IGAD as part of the Sudanese government and IGAD efforts to bring viewpoints closer and contribute positively in solving the dispute in South Sudan.
The foreign ministry has lauded the role of IGAD in solving the dispute, and affirmed keenness to support peace in South Sudan.
