Election Commission hold first meeting

Khartoum-The national election commission has affirmed readiness to hold the general elections in April 2015 as stated in the constitution.

Head of the national election commission Prof. Mukhatr Al-Asam revealed, during the first meeting of the commission, arrangements and preparations for the coming elections, and reviewed a number of the measures that help the commission complete its technical and administrative structures.

On his part, the deputy chairman of the commission Abdalla Mahdi said that the commission will be transparent and honest in performing its work. He said that the confidence in the Secretary General of the commission Dr. Jalal Mohamed Ahmed has been renewed in the meeting.
