Verdict on Al-Khojalab demonstrators’ case expected today

Khartoum-Bahri criminal court issued on Tuesday session its verdict in the case of Al-Khojalab demonstrators, who have been under arrest since last September demonstration. Journalist Ashraf Khojali, who works for the Sudanese radio, is among the detainees.

The eye witnesses have affirmed during last June session that the defendants have nothing to do with the arson and plunder acts. They pointed out that they were part of peaceful demonstration against the rise in prices and lift of oil subsidy.
