Speaker of Parliament reveals receiving written letter on election draft law from Popular Congress

Khartoum-The Speaker of the national Assembly Al-Fateh Izz-Eddin has revealed that the national legislature has received a written letter on the election law amendment bill by leader of the Popular Congress Party Dr. Hassan Al-Turabi.
On the other hand, he defended expelling head of the Popular Congress Parliamentary block from the Parliament hall, saying that there is no opposition leader in the Parliament. He pointed out that the SPLM is the second largest bloc.
Speaking to a news conference at the Parliament on Thursday, the speaker of the parliament describe the conditions raised by of the leftist groups for participation in the national dialogue as “impossible”, saying that democracy is not about win and defeat.
